The country for today is the United States of America. Barb sent this card from Florida. This card was so good to look at! It just gives me great aesthetic pleasure. Have a look at it --
The bicycle featured above is a Bridgestone Grandtech foldable bicycle.
Bridgestone Corporation is a Japanese multinational auto and truck parts manufacturer founded in 1931 by Shojiro Ishibashi in the city of Kurume, Fukuoka prefecture, Japan.
The name Bridgestone comes from a literal translation and transposition of Ishibashi, meaning "stone bridge" in Japanese. As of 2017, the company is the largest manufacturer of tyres in the world.
This bicycle was invented by two Bridgestone engineers, Ritsuo Nishimura and Nobuaki Shimada. Its handlebars and pedals fold away and the frame hinges in the middle.
Barb asked me if I had plans for Valentine's day and mentioned hers. Here's what she wrote :
"February 6, 2019
Hello from sunny Ocala, Florida in the USA! Do you have plans to celebrate Valentine's Day? We will be spending the day at the beach. Barb Schmidt."

She lives in Ocala, a city in central Florida. As for my Valentine's day plan...I had none :).
Barb stuck 4 stamps. Two stamps of 32 cents each, a forever stamp, and a 1 cent stamp.
The 32-cent stamps feature Bugs bunny and Sylvester & Tweety.
Bugs Bunny and Sylvester & Tweety are animated cartoon characters best known for starring in Looney tunes and Merrie melodies. I remember watching these shows and used to enjoy them when I was a kid. These were two of my favourite shows.
The 'forever' stamp features one of the many cars from Hot Wheels, the iconic die-cast car series from Mattel. In 2018, Hot Wheels celebrated 50 years as one of the world's most popular toy car brands. To mark that milestone, the USPS released a set of 20 stamps featuring 20 different cars from hot Wheels. The match speeder was an imaginative take on a modern race car.
The 1-cent stamp features a Tiffany lamp, which is a type of lamp with a glass shade designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany and his design studio. Due to Tiffany's dominant influence on the style, the term "Tiffany lamp" has been often used to refer to stained leaded glass lamps, even those not made by Louis Comfort Tiffany's company.
The postmark on the card is digitally printed and is clearly visible. It says "Jacksonville FL".
Jacksonville is the most populous city in Florida. It is named after the former U.S. President, Andrew Jackson.
This card is undoubtedly one of my favourites.
